This borough includes the traditional city center of Stavanger and the main harbor along Byfjorden. Storhaug has about 16,600 inhabitants on a 6.43 square kilometre geographical area, making it a very population dense area. The area roughly consists of the neighbourhoods Johannes, Nylund, Varden, Paradis, Bergjeland and Øyane.
